Design

This map is located in a medieval castle. The player will start at the outside area and will slowly make their way in. In the last area, the player will be greeted with a vast river and a broken bridge to the other side. The player will need to press the 2 remaining buttons and get into the exit before the acid rises and drowns them.

Trivia

• There are multiple places in the map that are used for trolling by players as the flood can not reach them.

• An instance of this would be near the 5th button, where you can wait on a platform and the flood will not rise enough to kill you.

• Castle Tides has the lowest star rating in the game, rated 1.1, making it the easiest map in Flood Escape 2, however, despite this, the player should be hasty, especially in solo, as the buttons are more spread out and the flood rises moderately.

• Due to the low rating, many people joke about it being the hardest map in the game.

• Players used to walk out-of-bounds as there were no barriers, but this has since been fixed.

• Castle Tides was the third Easy map added to Flood Escape 2.

• Contrary to popular belief, the map used to have an old BGM during the Beta release of Flood Escape 2.

• If a Rescue Mission is activated on this map, the escapee will be located near the second button.

• During a Lost Page Map Event, the Lost Page will be found at the waterfall in the first room. The lost page is known for being risky in solo due to flood in the first area being moderately fast.

• The image of this map in-game displayed was taken in Low Detail. You can tell as the map in the image is entirely made of the Roblox material "Plastic", which is what Low Detail sets all objects' materials to.
