Design

The map takes place in a dark and misty valley with a spooky atmosphere. Throughout the map, you can see acid pools, boxes, gravestones, with paths dimly lit by purple and orange lanterns and jack-o'-lanterns. Many platforms are made out of cobblestone, and wooden planks can also be found around the map in certain area. A lava well can be found while entering the second area of the map.

Trivia

• Polar Industry was one of many maps to have been posted on the Crazyblox Games Forums before being added to the game.

• According to the forums post, this map has 3,307 parts and 4,092 Instances.

• Polar Industry was added to Flood Escape 2 alongside Poisonous Forest, another map by Kenodonix. Both maps also have the most amount of Group Buttons, being 6.

• This map, alongside the latter and Toxic Woods, became uncredited in January 2024 following Kenodonix's ban from the Crazyblox Games Discord Server.

• The map's layout was scrapped 2 times before a final layout was settled.

• This is the second Easy map to have Lava as its third liquid, with the first being Axiom.

• This is the 2nd seasonal Easy Map, the first being Eerie Peaks.

• This also makes Polar Industry the 3rd seasonal map in FE2.

• The map's soundtrack was composed by luxTypes, GamesAreJust4fun, Kenodonix, DominoContributing.

• The soundtrack started off as a scrapped draft of the intro melody composed by DominoContributing in 2021. It was expanded into a complete OST by the former and the three others in 2024.

• This also makes Polar Industry to be the first map to not only have its soundtrack composed by more than 2 people, but also the first map that is not made by Crazyblox to have its OST composed by the map creator.

• Before this, the map used to share the same OST with Northern Workshop.

• In FE2 Community Maps Legacy, the map used a custom OST composed by DoctorQuartz.

• The map is the 2nd map to have a Christmas theme. The first being Northern Workshop.

• This is also the third winter themed map, following Northern Workshop and Snowy Peaks.

• If a Rescue Mission is activated on this map, the escapee will be located after the 6th button, in the last room of the factory.

• The escapee for this map is Preston instead of a randomly selected avatar.

• In the previous version of the map, the escapee was an Elf, and the escapee was located on a platform right beside the path after the 5th button.

• During a Lost Page Map Event, the Lost Page will be found behind a few boxes across the 4th button.

• When this map came back in 2024, it used Northern Workshop's OST due to the map's model not being updated in time before the map came back.

• This has yet to be fixed
