Overview
The Angry Plant Event was released on April 27th, 2025, and ended on May 9th, 2025.
This event featured an animated plant NPC whose name was Jim, with a design that was somewhat similar to the real-life Venus Flytrap plant.
Players were able to receive quests from Jim, which involved bringing him a specific type of crop that also needed to be a specified size. Sometimes the crop was also required to have a specific mutation. By completing Jim’s quests, players filled a progress bar, which required a maximum of 50 quests to complete. Players were rewarded with one Basic Seed Pack per quest they completed, and one Premium Seed Pack upon completion of 50 quests.

Dialogue
When a player approached the Angry Plant and pressed 'E' (on keyboard) or tapped the on-screen 'E' button, it says “Feed me a [Requested Plant] that weights at least [Requested Weight]” and the following interaction options will appear:
“What are you?”: TBA
“Show me Seed Pack Info”: No dialogue. Clicking this option would show players the quests progress bar and information on event seed packs.
“Take this Plant!”: This option was used if a player wanted to give a fruit to the Angry plant, which they must be holding when they press this button. The Angry Plant would reach out and eat the fruit out of a player's hands and then spit out one Basic Seed Pack. If a player was not holding anything, the message would read “Yоu don't hold anything!”. There was a bug so that when a player was offering the right fruit, but it was not taken, the message “The Angry Plant stares as you hide your plant in your backpack...” would appear.
“Let’s be friends”: This option would prompt the following dialogue. “FRIEND???🔥😡” “frend... with me?? 🥺🥺🥺” “angry plant always wanted frens... :)”
“Nevermind”: This option caused the interaction between Jim the Angry Plant and the player to end, and the Angry Plant would reply with "Goodbye!".
Trivia
The Angry Plant Event was the second ever event to be released in-game.
Jim is a Venus Fly Trap.
At one point, there was a bug which involved Jim’s head not appearing on his body.
The 4th interaction option, "Wanna be friends?", was not available until the last week of the event.
