Trivia
In some of the screens, the players can see some references to Flood Escape: Classic and Flood Escape 2, such as the Crazyblox Games Group Icon, the flood sword, and an old thumbnail from Flood Escape: Classic.
Additionally, the players can also see things back in the old Roblox era, such as the Tix.
In the arcade machines section, there can be found decals of old video games in their screens.
In the sky, there can be found floating 80s keyboard keys.
This map has ziplines despite being an Easy Map.
Retro Coast was one of many maps to have been posted on the Crazyblox Games Forums before being added to the game.
Retro Coast was nominated as a map highlight and was added to Flood Escape 2 in March 2023, along with Undersea Facility, Virulent Junkyard, and Summit.
It was added permanently added on March 28th, 2023, alongside Zemblanity, making it the second monthly highlight map to become permanent since Active Volcanic Mines.
Retro Coast is one of the few maps that was highlighted twice. The other maps are Amphibious Billow, Underworld Grove, Abandoned Cemetery, End Of The Line, Spring Valley, and Strawberry Springs.
If a Rescue Mission is activated on this map, the escapee will be located behind the 5th button.
During a Lost Page Map Event, the Lost Page will be found behind the 1st button, in the water.
