Design

Toxic Woods takes place in a forest filled with wooden structures, pine trees, green lanterns, and lots of crates littered throughout the map. The last area is an enormous cave with more wooden structures and platforming. The difference is that this map is quite larger, lacks wooden stick platforms and is given a greenish ambience.

Trivia

• This map was originally a 2022 remaster of Poisonous Forest, but was given an entirely new theme and name prior to being added to Flood Escape 2. The map also used Poisonous Forest's OST as a placeholder.

• When the map was added, both this map and Northern Mill became very controversial due to being reskinned versions of their respective counterparts.

• To add onto the problematic status of Toxic Woods, the OST by BSlick that was added later on became controversial as well, as most of the community viewed it as unfitting for the map.

• Toxic Woods and Poisonous Forest share the same number of buttons.

• This map was added in the V52 update, along with Northern Mill.

• This map, along with Poisonous Forest and Polar Industry, became uncredited in January 2024 following Kenodonix's ban from the Crazyblox Games Discord Server.

• Toxic Woods features a bright green rain particle effect throughout the map which always faces the camera.

• This is the first permanent map to ever use variants. The obstacle before the first slide barrier is either a jump to a box or a broken bridge, and the 7th button opens up a door which will either have a small wooden part on the bottom or a slide.

• This was later followed by Active Volcanic Mines, Decaying Silo, and Snowy Stronghold.

• This is also the only permanent core map to have two instances of variants.

• This is one of the many Hard Maps to have its flood start off with lava. The other maps are Lava Tower, Dark Sci-Forest, Graveyard Cliffside, Sedimentary Temple, Fallen (Classic), Sunken Citadel, Relic Valley, and Poisonous Forest.

• If a Rescue Mission is activated on this map, the escapee will be located on top of a hill, which can be accessed by going right instead of left before entering the 6th button's room.

• The escapee for this map is a Forest Ranger instead of a randomly selected avatar.

• During a Lost Page Map Event, the Lost Page will be found behind a stack of boxes just above the 6th button.
