Design

The map takes place in an underground ruined fortress. According to the map's backstory, you fell in this underground area after attempting to cross a wooden bridge. The map is designed with ruined structures, boxes, fences, few vegetation, and several waterfalls, flowing from the cliffs. If you look outside the map, you can see pyramids, suggesting that the map is located in a desert oasis.

Trivia

• Zemblanity was one of many maps to have been posted on the Crazyblox Games Forums before being added to the game.

• The map took 11 months to develop (not counting its old version).

• The map had an old version, which was much smaller in gameplay and had a different theme than the current one.

• This is the first and currently only map in Flood Escape 2 that starts with a Z.

• There is a secret room in this map. To reach it, take the path to the 5th button, but drop down on a platform between the truss and another platform. Turn around, and then go left to enter a hidden wall and into the tunnel. The secret room contains TheLivingPepsi's Roblox avatar on the left, and a picture of the Mona Lisa with a Doge face on it on the right.

• Zemblanity's backstory was most likely designed after the meaning of the word Zemblanity, which is an unlucky or unwanted, but predictable, event.

• Zemblanity was highlighted on X/Twitter in 2022, making it the first and only X/Twitter highlighted map not to be featured in the game during the modern Map Highlights system, but was later added permanently.

• The map was also added alongside Retro Coast.

• If a Rescue Mission is activated on this map, the escapee will be located near the water in the first area, below the path to the 2nd button.

• The escapee for this map is an Astray Explorer instead of a randomly selected avatar.

• During a Lost Page Map Event, the Lost Page will be found at the bottom of the waterfall of the 3rd room.
