Design

The map takes place in a workshop that manufactures wooden planks. The layout, structure gameplay route is the same as Northern Workshop, as this is a retexture of the original map. Several ducks and deer are found sitting around the mill as well. Upon reaching the last section of the map is a secret underground base with a rocket in it.

Trivia

• This is disney12's 3rd map to be added to Flood Escape 2.

• Northern Mill is a retexture of Northern Workshop.

• This map used to have Construction Thrill's OST as its BGM. But on July 17, 2023, the map received its own OST, composed by BSlick.

• Northern Mill is the first and only Normal Map to have ziplines.

• It is also one of few maps to have two or more ziplines, the other 6 being Relic Valley, Fallen, Sandswept Ruins, Active Volcanic Mines, Retro Coast, and Decaying Silo.

• This map was added in the V52 update along with Toxic Woods.

• If the player stays on the starting platform for a certain amount of time, the player would be able to see a big duck coming out of the mill and firing lasers from its eyes, instantly flooding the upper portion of the map with lava.

• There is a hidden Air Bubble that the players can use inside a small compartment inside of the drop after pressing the 5th button. Its face is upside down during a Mirrored Map Event.

• In a certain location near the end of the outside area, a story of Guide in Beneath The Ruins is found. It tells the player about how he wanted to be stronger and lost Crazyblox.

• If a Rescue Mission is activated on this map, the escapee will be located on top of a shelf beside the 5th button.

• The escapee for this map is a Lumber Worker instead of a randomly selected avatar.

• The escapee for Satomi Springs is also a Lumber Worker, however their appearances differ.

• During a Lost Page Map Event, the Lost Page will be found in the room that holds the 4th button, hidden under the stairs.
